How does FastLending.com protect my personal information?

How does FastLending.com collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you –apply for financing or give us your contact information, provide account information, provide your government-issued ID– We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only –sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes-information about your creditworthiness, affiliates from using your information to market to you, sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you– State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. See below for more on your rights under state law.
What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?
Your choices will apply to everyone on your account.

Definitions

Affiliates
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Nonaffiliates
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Joint Marketing
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

Other important information

California Residents Only: California residents have additional rights to limit sharing. Please see the enclosed “Important Privacy Choices for Consumers” provided to you describing your right to control sharing. Also, we will not disclose your personal information to nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law or unless you authorize us to make those disclosures.

Vermont Residents Only: We will not disclose information about your creditworthiness to our affiliates and will not disclose your personal information, financial information, credit report, or health information to nonaffiliated third parties to market to you, other than as permitted by Vermont law, unless you authorize us to make those disclosures.

Text Message Policy (Account-related Messages Only)

By providing us with your mobile number and opting-in, you give FASTLENDING.COM, LLC (d/b/a “FASTLENDING.COM”) permission to send you account-related text messages, like payment reminders and notifications in conjunction with the services you have requested.

  • Number of messages will vary by account.
  • By providing us with your mobile number and opting-in, you agree you have ownership rights or permission to use the number given to us.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • To opt-out, text STOP to any text message we send you. An opt-out confirmation message will be sent back to you.
  • To request support, text HELP to any text message we send you or email us at customerservice@fastlending.com.
  • If your handset does not support MMS, any MMS messages sent may be delivered as SMS messages.
  • Wireless carriers are not liable for undelivered or delayed messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
